Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean Area A Governance to be Invented

This book is resulting from the conference "Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean Area", organized on June 11th and 12, 2009 in Aix-en-Provence and first event of the Pole – Sustainable Development and Mediterranean Territories – Paul Cezanne University, Aix-Marseille III. The aim of this work is to fuel the reflexion on the tracks and action levers to explore, meeting challenges of the sustainable development in the Mediterranean. Development ways, legislation, procedures, coordination and cooperation forms … are used to reach a more harmonious Mediterranean society in its relations between human but also between human and nature.
